About
I am a self-taught visual artist working mainly on oil paintings. My work combines symbolism and storytelling to explore emotions, identity, relationships, loss and change.Alongside each painting, I write a piece of prose poetry that offers another way into the story. My studies in psychotherapy often influence the themes I explore, particularly those connected to human behavior and inner experience.This portfolio showcases my traditional work, while my digital projects can be found separately on ArtStation.

NOTHING STAYS PERFECT PORCELAIN
If perfection could be shown on a stage like this, beneath painted lights, blind to what they see, perhaps they would call it beautiful.Greedy smiles each step wider, turn by turn, an unnatural dance.You cannot spill and stain the carpet. You cannot carry mistakes on your face.And so you learn.You learn to stay still. You learn to keep inside a raspy scream.For a while, it works. The dance continues exactly as it should.But then a question begins to linger.Why are colors now bad?Why do gray and fog gather on the roads ahead?Why do they spread through our heads?And slowly the perfection everyone worked so hard to protect begins to disappear beneath them.Nothing stays perfect porcelain.
